Pedestrian Struck and Seriously Injured by Car near Qualcomm Way
MISSION VALLEY, CA (June 15, 2019) – A 44-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian crash on Camino Del Rio North, early Saturday morning.
As per reports, the incident happened near Qualcomm Way, at about 5:00 AM. A 1996 Ford Explorer attempted to make a right turn when it hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk while the walk signal was on.
Emergency responders rushed the pedestrian to a hospital with a possible skull fracture, several facial fractures, and internal injuries. Updates on the victim’s current condition remain undisclosed. Meanwhile, the 57-year-old Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
