Fatality in Hit-and-Run Crash on South Fairview Street
Santa Ana, CA (November 05, 2021) – Earlier today, a Hispanic man, believed to be in his 40s hit-and-run crash on South Fairview Street.
The fatal crash took place at about 1:20 a.m. in the 800 block area.
Officers said the pedestrian was in the northbound lanes of the highway between McFadden Avenue and Highland Street.
The victim was struck by an early 2000s Mercedes-Benz sedan, a late-model Hyundai and a Toyota Corolla.
Unfortunately, the man lost his life at the accident scene.
Moreover, only the Corolla driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Meanwhile, the officers are investigating the fatal accident and the identity of the hit-and-run drivers.
Police withheld the victim’s identity pending notification of his family.
