Man in 40s Critically Injured in West Manchester Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (January 29, 2022) – On January 20, a man in his 40s sustained critical injuries in a West Manchester Avenue hit-and-run crash.

A car struck the victim at about 4:50 a.m. at the 200 block area.

Officers working on this case said the victim did not have any documentation of his identity on his property.

Additionally, the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center officials said he is not able to communicate, as an image released by the hospital shows the victim is on a ventilator.

Moreover, the officers described the victim as a Hispanic/Latino man in his 40s with brown eyes and black hair. 

They said the victim is between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6 and 195 to 200 pounds, with a medium to larger build with no tattoos. 

Officers said he was clothed, wore tennis shoes, and had a clean haircut when he was taken to the hospital.
