Driver Killed in Clarkton Head-On Crash
Dunklin County, MO (October 23, 2024) – 32-year-old Malori Staggs of Kennett was seriously injured in a head-on crash on Highway 25 Monday evening.
It was about 5:20 p.m. on October 21 when the fatal crash happened north of County Road 312 in Clarkton.
According to the authorities, a southbound passenger car driven by 21-year-old Seth Calder of Clarkton crossed the center of the road and struck the passenger car driven by Staggs head-on.
MSHP said Seth Calder was transported to an out-of-state hospital where he later died.
Malori Staggs sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Regional One Health in Memphis, Tennessee.
Both vehicles were totaled from the crash scene.
