Male Pedestrian Dies in Tragic Hit-and-Run Near NE 90th Street [Redmond, WA]

Redmond Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Victim in Fatal Hit-and-Run

Redmond, WA (September 20, 2024) On Saturday evening, a male pedestrian was killed after a horrific hit-and-run near NE 90th Street.

According to Redmond police the hit-and-run accident happened around 8:40 p.m. on NE 90th St near Redmond-Woodinville Rd NE

Redmond police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man killed when a vehicle struck him and sped off, leaving the man critically injured on the street.

Emergency responders transported the man to the hospital, where he later died due to his injuries. Witnesses at the scene helped police identify the suspect vehicle, leading to the arrest of the driver soon after the incident.

Despite the arrest, the victim remains unidentified. Authorities describe him as a white male in his late 60s or early 70s, wearing a yellow shirt and black pants at the time of the accident.
