Early Morning Crash on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu Injures Two
MALIBU, CA (May 4, 2019) – Two people were hospitalized following a three-vehicle collision early Saturday morning on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
Around 3:45 a.m., a gray Chrysler 300, a gray sedan, and a third vehicle collided along the northbound lanes of Highway 1 at La Jolla Canyon.
Officers arrived and located two vehicles on the right shoulder. The third vehicle went on a barricade into the bushes.
Paramedics transported two patients to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Fire crews shut down the northbound lanes of Highway 1 while they worked on the scene.
An investigation is still ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved in the accident.
