Police Search the Hit-and-Run Driver after Crash on 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (October 3, 2022) – Monday morning, a male pedestrian died in a hit-and-run crash on 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road.

The fatal hit-and-run crash in Phoenix happened on October 3.

Phoenix Police arrived and located a man in his 40s lying in the roadway with obvious signs of trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver fled the scene. 

Witnesses said the victim was crossing the road when he was struck. 

Moreover, a witness pointed officers to a nearby area where the vehicle had gone to.

Investigators identified the driver but did not release further information this time.

Further investigation into this hit-and-run crash is ongoing.
