Phoenix, AZ (September 16, 2022) – Friday morning, a pedestrian died in a crash on 7th Avenue and Baseline Road.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened at around 9:30 a.m. on September 16.

Phoenix Police said an adult male was struck near 7th Avenue and Baseline Road while walking outside the crosswalk.

EMS took the man to a hospital where he later died.

Police said the female driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation. 

Moreover, footage of the crash showed a silver SUV with significant damage to the windshield and front of the vehicle after the crash.

Investigators said intoxication is not believed to be a factor at this time.
