Selma Man Critical after a Crash on Whitson Street in Selma

Selma, CA (November 25, 2022) – Friday evening, an 84-year-old man from Selma sustained critical injuries after a crash on Whitson Street and Floral Avenue.

The auto-pedestrian crash in Selma happened around 5:00 p.m. on November 25.

Selma Police said they found the man lying in the road, unresponsive and suffering major injuries.

EMS rushed him to the hospital, and he was in critical condition.

Meanwhile, the vehicle’s driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Investigators do not suspect drugs or alcohol are a factor in the collision.
