61-Year-Old Passenger Dies after Rear-End Crash on Highway 237 in Sunnyvale
Sunnyvale, CA (December 1, 2022) – Wednesday evening, a 61-year-old male passenger died in a crash on Highway 237.
The crash in Sunnyvale happened around 6:50 p.m. on November 30 on westbound Highway 237 east of Mathilda Avenue.
CHP said a 62-year-old woman driving a 2007 Lexus ES 350 crashed into the vehicle in front of her. Her passenger, the 61-year-old man, did not wear a seatbelt and struck the back of the front passenger.
EMS transported him to Stanford Medical Center, where he died at about 12:20 p.m. Thursday.
