1 Dead in Hesperia Auto Accident near E Avenue and Hercules Street

 
HESPERIA, CA (September 11, 2022) – Friday night, a male passenger died in a car crash near E Avenue and Hercules Street.
 
The incident occurred at around 9:12 p.m. near E Avenue and Hercules Street.
 
According to reports, the crash involved a 2016 Kia Soul and a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer.
 
Reports revealed that the Chevrolet traveled north on E Avenue. Meanwhile, the Kia headed in the same direction behind the victim’s vehicle.
 
As a result, the 75-year-old male passenger in the Chevrolet suffered major injuries. Then, responders declared that person dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether the 20-year-old male driver from Hesperia suffered injuries in the crash.
 
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old Kia driver from Apple Valley went to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Investigators from the Hesperia Station Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) came and handles the investigation.
 
At this time, they are still investigating whether or not drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the crash.
