31-Year-Old Male Bicyclist Transported in Accident on Highway 1 [San Luis Obispo County, CA]

San Luis Obispo County, CA (May 13, 2024) – A 31-year-old male bicyclist was injured following an accident on Highway 1 Saturday night.

It was approximately 11:10 when the bicyclist was hit after changing lanes at the intersection with Grand Avenue in Grover Beach.

The bicyclist was seriously injured and was transported to an area hospital.

Meanwhile, the involved driver fled the scene and later contacted the authorities.

Officers said the involved vehicle involved was a blue 1966 Ford four-door sedan with California plates UCS 589 is owned by transient William Ryan Dacosse.
