1 Dead in Oxnard Bicycle Accident on Saviers Road and Glacier Avenue
OXNARD, CA (September 21, 2022) – Monday night, a male bicyclist died in a crash on Saviers Road and Glacier Avenue.
The incident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. on Saviers Road and Glacier Avenue.
According to reports, the bicyclist crossed Saviers Road, westbound toward Glacier Avenue. Then, a 2005 Ford F-150 pickup hit him and left him with major injuries. Thus, responders took him to a local hospital where he later succumbed to injuries.
At this time, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old Oxnard male driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
At this time, the authorities haven’t confirmed whether speed, drugs, and/or alcohol played a role in the crash.
