Officers Searching for Suspect Driver in Clovis Hit-and-Run Crash

Clovis, CA (May 18, 2024) – A male bicyclist was injured following a traffic collision on Shaw Avenue Wednesday night.

It was before 11 p.m. when the collision happened at the intersection with Peach Avenue.

Officers said the bicyclist was riding through a gas station when a black car drove through the commercial parking lot.

The security video captured the driver striking the bicyclist who was thrown onto the ground. The driver stopped but also drove away without checking the victim

Immediately, the paramedics took the bicyclist to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers said the sedan driver was wanted for felony hit and run.
