Police Investigate a Head-On Crash on Highway 12 and Camanche Parkway in Valley Springs
Valley Springs, CA (December 9, 2021) – Thursday morning, Makayla Matlock Moody, 25, died in a head-on crash on Highway 12 and Camanche Parkway.
The fatal head-on crash in Valley Springs happened at around 10 a.m., amidst heavy rain downpour.
Police said the collision on State Route 12 involved two vehicles, causing major injuries.
Later reports by CHP San Andreas revealed the identity of the Stockton resident, who, for unknown reasons, drifted into the opposite lane on the highway.
The decedent’s dodge collided with a Chevrolet in the westbound lane.
Investigators continue to further determine the cause of the deadly accident, expecting weather to be the primary factor.
