Vehicle Overturns in Crash on Highway 88 Near Sorenson’s Resort

 
MARKLEEVILLE, CA (October 6, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained in a rollover crash on Highway 88 westbound on Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near Sorenson’s Resort at approximately 9:44 AM.
 
Based on a report, a pickup truck pulling a trailer overturned in the incident. After that, officials located it at least 30 feet down the roadway. Several vehicles were at the scene but it is not yet known if they are involved in the crash.
 
The paramedics reported that four occupants of the truck were injured. In addition, a child suffered head injuries sustained due to the impact.
 
Traffic stopped in all directions while rescue and clearing operations took place.
