Vehicle Overturns in Major Collision near Paynes Creek Road
RED BLUFF, CA (September 14, 2018) – Major injuries were sustained Friday evening in a rollover crash on Highway 36.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 10:20 PM, just west of Paynes Creek Road. Officials arrived at the scene to find an unidentified sedan overturned in the lanes. Events leading up the collision are unknown at this time.
Emergency responders found one responsive person on the scene, who was seeking help for another person who was trapped inside the overturned vehicle. An air ambulance was requested for needed medical attention, as the victim suffered major injuries. There is no update on their current medical condition.
