Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near Drew Road
EL CENTRO, CA (December 30, 2018) – Major injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on westbound 8 Freeway, Sunday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:26 PM, just west of Drew Road. Based on their report, three vehicles were involved in the incident. A Toyota Tundra was found with major damage after running into the back of an RV.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that one motorist was transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The 2nd lane was closed while clearing and recovery operations took place in the area. Towing services were ordered by fire officials to clear the area and prevent any traffic hazards. No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
