Three Vehicles Involved in Major Collision near Lake Street

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (March 30, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained in a multi-car crash on southbound 15 Freeway, Saturday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 4:16 PM, just south of Lake Street. Based on an initial report, there were three vehicles involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a brown SUV, a gray pickup truck and another pickup truck. Airbags were deployed in the two vehicles.
 
The paramedics were requested for medical attention. Two medical helicopters landed in the area as medical staff confirmed that serious injuries were sustained by involved motorists.
 
Clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area. In addition, an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the pile-up. No further details have been disclosed to the public.
