Two Vehicles Involved in Head-On Collision near Mono Lake
LEE VINING, CA (December 26, 2018) – Major injuries were sustained in a head-on crash on Highway 395, Wednesday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 3:56 PM, near Mono Lake. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. A deer reportedly appeared at the roadway, making one of the cars swerve and cause the accident.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They recorded serious injuries in the incident.
Both lanes were closed while cleaning and clearing operations were performed in the area. Additional information will be released once it becomes available, as the cause of the accident still remains under investigation at this time.
