Trash Truck Involved in Crash on 80 Freeway
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 3, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained in a crash on 80 Freeway, Monday noon.
According to the CHP, the westbound collision happened at 12:35 PM east of Norwood Avenue. Based on an initial report, a trash truck struck and pushed a blue Dodge Durango against the guardrail.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. They recorded life-threatening injuries sustained by involved motorists.
The No. 4 lane of the freeway was closed while fire official worked to clear the area.
