Multiple Vehicles Involved in Major Collision near Van Buren Boulevard
MARCH AIR RESERVE BASE, CA (September 23, 2018) – Major injuries were sustained in a crash on 215 Freeway, early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 3:43 AM, near Gold Hill Road. Reports showed that there were four vehicles involved in the incident. One motorist reportedly left the scene on foot after the pile-up accident.
Medics arrived at the scene to find multiple people with major injuries. It is unclear how many people were injured and if they were hospitalized. No further information was released regarding the victims’ conditions or identities.
All lanes of the highway were blocked as crews cleaned up the wreckage and authorities conducted their investigation. Officials continue to investigate in order to determine the cause of the accident and to identify possible contributing factors.
