CHP Investigates Four-Vehicle Crash on Highway 14 near Escondido Canyon Road
Santa Clarita, CA (September 3, 2021) – Friday afternoon, CHP responded to a reportedly major injury four-vehicle crash near the Escondido Canyon Road exit.
The crash prompted the closure of the northbound side of Highway 14 that happened at around 3:48 p.m. on September 3.
CHP said the crash involved four vehicles but the circumstances leading to this incident remain under investigation.
It was unknown how many people sustained injuries. Moreover, a helicopter responded to the scene but it was not clear how many if any were airlifted.
No other details are immediately available. Further investigation is ongoing.
