BUTTE COUNTY, CA (March 31, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a traffic crash on Highway 99 and Esplanade led to major injuries.
 
The injury crash happened on Highway 99 and Esplanade, just north of Chico. After the crash, responders took all involved parties to the hospital. However, the authorities haven’t disclosed the total number of patients.
 
Also, the crash shut down the northbound lane of Highway 99 but the CHP was moving traffic in both directions through the southbound lane.
