38-Year-Old Man Killed in Turlock Pedestrian Accident on West Main Street and Crows Landing Road

 
TURLOCK, CA (June 2, 2022) – Wednesday morning, a deadly crash on West Main Street and Crows Landing Road involved Maiyra Rodriguez.
 
According to reports, the incident occurred just before 2:00 a.m. A Chrysler PT Cruiser struck a man in the eastbound lane of West Main Street, west of Crows Landing Road.
 
According to 41-year-old PT Cruiser driver Maiyra Rodriguez of Winton, she didn’t notice the 38-year-old man on the road. After the crash, she stopped and called 911.
 
When a Stanislaus County sheriff’s deputy arrived, they began CPR on the pedestrian. Reports said that he suffered massive head trauma and did not have a pulse.
 
However, the man later succumbed to injuries. His identity remains undisclosed due to pending family notification
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined whether the pedestrian was attempting to cross the street or was walking or standing in the traffic lane.
