Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on Jamacha Road and Cardiff Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 3, 2023) – Saturday morning, Maggie Robles suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Jamacha Road and Cardiff Street.
The incident occurred on Jamacha Road and Cardiff Street as an Atlanta family visited San Diego for New Year’s Eve.
According to Maggie Robles, as she drove in the left turn lane of Jamacha Road, she tried to turn onto Cardiff Street. However, a Dodge Challenger came speeding around the corner.
Afterward, the driver lost control of his car, clipped a truck, and then crashed into Robles’ Mustang convertible.
Robles admitted that she was renting the vehicle.

The impact sent the Mustang into the driveway of Yum Yum Donuts until it started filling up with smoke. Robles added that her son and daughter-in-law rode along with her.
Responders pulled the family from the vehicle.
After the crash, Maggie Robles sustained hand injuries and has pain on the left side of her body.
“[The driver] did not even stop at that red light. He made a conscious decision. If you’re old enough to have a driver’s license, you’re old enough to know what you did was wrong,” Robles said
Meanwhile, the police managed to retrieve the license plate number and they believed that the suspect is a member of the military.
At this time, the authorities haven’t made any arrests.
