1 Person in Custody in Laredo Auto Accident on Zapata Highway and La Pita Mangana Road
LAREDO, TX (July 23, 2023) – Friday night, authorities arrested Madelina De La Rosa after an alarming hit-and-run crash on Zapata Highway and La Pita Mangana Road.
The incident happened at around 9:40 p.m. on Zapata Highway and La Pita Mangana Road.
According to the Laredo Police, a black Nissan Altima struck a Border Patrol Unit and then fled the scene. Then, the force of the crash pushed the patrol vehicle to roll over.
Moreover, officers managed to locate and arrest the Nissan driver, 19-year-old Madeline De La Rosa, at the 4600 block of Santa Anita.
At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
