Lynnette Aguilar of Long Beach Dies in Centralia Street Collision [Long Beach, CA]

Long Beach, CA (November 22, 2024) – Lynnette Aguilar, 52, of Long Beach, was killed in a Centralia Street collision Wednesday evening.

It was about 6:35 p.m. when the fatal crash happened at the intersection with Bellflower Boulevard.

Troopers said a 2014 Jeep Patriot driven by a 65-year-old Lakewood resident was northbound on Bellflower Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway outside of a crosswalk.

Sadly, the pedestrian, Lynnette Aguilar, was killed in the accident.

The driver remained at the crash scene and cooperated with the authorities. Officers said speed or distracted or impaired driving played a role.
