Woman Fatally Struck by DUI Hit-and-Run Driver in La Habra

 
LA HABRA, CA (December 15, 2019) – A woman died in a DUI hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning in La Habra.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:10 a.m. on Harbor Boulevard, just south of La Habra Boulevard.
 
According to police, a female pedestrian was walking in the roadway when a vehicle struck her. Arriving units pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
Authorities identified the victim as Lynn Barton, 64, a transient with relatives in La Habra.
 
The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid. Police later located the vehicle and suspect. They arrested the driver on suspicion of felony drunken driving as well as hit-and-run.
