Lydia Currier Struck and Killed in Hemet Accident

 
Hemet, CA (April 18, 2021) – On Saturday, Lydia Currier, 35, of Hemet died in a hit-and-run crash on Sanderson Avenue.
 
The fatal Hemet accident took place at about 3:15 a.m. near Fruitvale Avenue.
 
When authorities arrived at the scene, they performed life-saving measures on the victim and took her to a hospital where she later died.
 
Meanwhile, police searched the area for the suspect’s vehicle, but did not find anything.
 
Moreover, authorities said that about 30 minutes before the accident, they responded to a call of a woman who jumped out into traffic on Kirby Street, about one block east of where the crash happened.
 
They added that the caller said they almost struck the woman after she jumped or ran onto the roadway.
 
Officers responded, but did not find the female. It is likely that the female was Ms. Currier, who was killed in the hit and run.
