Passenger Luzviminda Marzan Dead in Spring Valley Accident near La Presa
Spring Valley, CA (September 24, 2020) – On Wednesday, 52-year-old passenger Luzviminda Marzan died in a vehicle crash on Paradise Valley Road.
California Highway Patrol Officer Travis Garrow said the fatal accident happened on September 23 at about 6:50 a.m., east of Worthington Street.
Apparently, a 49-year-old Chula Vista man, the decedent’s boyfriend, was driving a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe westbound on Paradise Valley Road.
His vehicle then traveled over the north sidewalk. It went through a chain-link fence, before going down a dirt embankment and crashing into a tree stump.
Moreover, the authorities said, the passenger was ejected through the windshield.
Police pronounced her dead on the scene. Authorities released her name as Luzviminda Marzan.
Meanwhile, the driver was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the incident. He incurred minor injuries.
Immediately, the rescuers took him to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatmen.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that intoxication was not a factor in the crash.
