Man Seriously Hurt in 2-Vehicle Collision on Ladd Street
Medical Lake, WA (December 27, 2023) On Monday morning, deputies arrested 18-year-old Luke Ruggiero after a 2-vehicle DUI crash at Stanley Street.
Authorities say that the 2-vehicle collision happened on Christmas morning at Stanley Street and Ladd Street.
Reports say that Ruggiero was driving an eastbound Ford F250, did not stop at a stop sign on Ladd Street, that led to the collision with a northbound Ford sedan.
Medics rushed the seriously injured sedan driver to the hospital, officials say that the driver sustained serious and possibly life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities took Ruggiero into custody and booked him into the Spokane County Jail for vehicular assault. Officials say that Ruggiero was previously arrested for driving under the influence in 2022.
