1 Person Hurt in Taft Auto Accident on 300 South Tenth Street
TAFT, CA (December 26, 2023) – Friday night, authorities arrested Lucia Delossantos after a startling DUI crash on 300 South Tenth Street.
The incident happened on the 300 block of South Tenth Street.
According to the Taft Police, a northbound vehicle struck a vehicle that was parked on the east side of the road. Then, the vehicle came to rest in the front yard of a home.
Moreover, responders transported the driver of the vehicle, identified as Delossantos, and her passenger to a hospital with minor injuries.
Furthermore, authorities arrested the suspect for DUI, driving without a license, possession of an open container, and no proof of insurance.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Taft Police continued to investigate the crash.
