Lt. Chad Brackman Struck and Killed in 87th Street Crash [Scottsdale, AZ]

Police Investigate a Fatal Crash on 87th Street and McDowell Road in Scottsdale 

Scottsdale, AZ (November 10, 2021) – On Wednesday, Lieutenant Chad Brackman died in a crash near 87th Street and McDowell Road.

The fatal crash happened on November 10.

Scottsdale Police said Brackman was working off-duty traffic control at an intersection near 87th Street and McDowell Road when a driver struck him. 

EMS then immediately transported him to HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn with severe injuries but later died.

Meanwhile, the alleged driver who hit him was also taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash.
