Injuries Reported in Solo-Vehicle Rollover Crash at Squilchuck Road
Wenatchee, WA (July 17, 2022) On Friday morning, an 18-year-old male was trapped and injured after a hit-and-run crash on Lovitt Lane.
Authorities say that the solo-vehicle rollover crash happened around 7 a.m. at Squilchuck Road.
Reports say that a Wenatchee driver was driving at high speed on Squilchuck Road. Afterward, the vehicle crashed into a property on Lovitt Lane.
Moreover, the black Chevrolet Malibu flipped and rolled in a complete rotation. The vehicle had 4 occupants, 3 were able to get out, except for the 18-year-old passenger.
The passenger sustained major injuries to his back. Meanwhile, the driver fled the scene, leaving 2 people outside the flipped vehicle.
Officials later found the driver. The driver say that he had 2 bottles of beer and also suffered pain after the crash.
Paramedics transported the injured patients to Central Washington Hospital.
Furthermore, authorities may charge the driver with hit and run and vehicular assault.
