Morning 2-Car Wreck on Highway 17 in Los Gatos Leaves One Injured
LOS GATOS, CA (January 7, 2019) – A woman was injured following a two-car crash Monday morning in Los Gatos, CHP officials said.
The crash happened around 7:55 a.m. on southbound Highway 17, just South of Glenwood Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Honda Civic and a silver Kia collided for unknown reasons. The impact caused head injuries to a 26-year-old female occupant. The patient was taken by ambulance to a hospital with possible concussion.
The Honda sustained major front damage while the Kia had major rear damage as a result of the accident. Both cars were towed away from the wreckage.
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol have played a role in the crash. Investigation of this incident is still ongoing.
