Pedestrians Injured in Accident on Cesar Chavez Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (April 19, 2018) – A driver was arrested after several pedestrians were struck by a car on North Vignes Street, early Monday morning.
The incident occurred around 2:30 AM near the intersection of North Vignes Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue. According to Sgt Kevin Custard, the driver may have been parked before getting into a dispute with the group of pedestrians and plowing through them.
Investigators stated that possibly five people sustained minor injuries, and that the collision was described as “potentially intentional.” Video footage of the scene showed a white vehicle that had come to a full stop when it crashed into a fence.
