3 Vehicles Collide, 2 Catches Fire on 405 Freeway in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 13, 2019) – Injuries were reported following a fiery crash Wednesday afternoon on southbound 405 Freeway, just North of Sunset Boulevard.
The crash happened around 2:38 p.m. involving three vehicles.
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately available, but two of the involved vehicles caught fire due to the impact. Injuries were sustained in the crash, but the extent and number of injured victims were not immediately known.
An ambulance unit was dispatched to the scene and took those who were hurt to a hospital for proper treatment.
Fire crews raised a traffic alert in the area, blocking the fourth and fifth lanes for unknown duration while they worked on the scene.
