6-Year-Old Boy Hurt in Afternoon Fiery Collision on Highway 101 in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 14, 2019) – A child was injured following a fiery crash Monday afternoon on northbound Highway 101 at Alvarado Street.
The crash happened around 1:21 p.m. involving a dark-colored Honda sedan, a white Toyota Prius and a gray Mercedes-Benz C250.
When officers arrived on the scene, one of the cars was fully engulfed in flames, blocking the first and second lanes of the highway. The Toyota sedan had major front damage.
A 6-year-old boy reportedly sustained a cut to the head and paramedics were immediately dispatched to give aid.
Towing services were requested to remove the vehicles from the wreck.
There were no official reports stating what caused the crash or how it exactly transpired. Authorities are looking further into the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
