Evening Head-On Collision in Los Altos Hills Injures Two

 
LOS ALTOS HILLS, CA (May 9, 2019) – Two people were injured following a head-on collision Thursday evening in Los Altos Hills.
 
The collision happened around 9:37 p.m., on 280 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived near Page Mill Road shortly after.
 
According to reports, a black Honda and a red Toyota collided head-on, for unknown reasons. The accident consequently blocked two lanes on the off-ramp as a result.
 
An ambulance unit was immediately dispatched to the scene. Two patients were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of injuries sustained are unclear at this time.
 
Both cars were towed away from the crash site due to the extent of their damage. The surrounding roadway was also closed off for a brief time while crews worked to clean the scene.
 
Furthermore, there were no official reports stating what caused the crash. Authorities are still currently looking further into the accident.
