1 Person Killed in Madera County Wrong-Way Accident near Highway 41
MADERA COUNTY, CA (February 14, 2023) – Sunday night, authorities arrested Lorenzo Antonio Morales-Cortes after a deadly crash near Highway 41.
The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. near Highway 41 and Avenue 15.
According to reports, a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Min Cooper.
Moreover, authorities confirmed that a 19-year-old Madera woman died in the incident.
Furthermore, authorities arrested the Camaro driver, 24-year-old Lorenzo Antonio Morales-Cortes, on suspicion of DUI.
