[UPDATE] Loralee Connally Dies in Two-vehicle Crash near Brown Road on Highway 178
Inyokern, CA (May 26, 2020) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office identified Loralee Connally as the fatality in the two-vehicle crash on Highway 178 near Brown Road on March 18.
The California Highway Patrol initially revealed that a fuel truck and a sedan collided on Highway 178 near Brown Road for reasons that are still unclear.
Reports added that the semi-truck, which was carrying 100 gallons of diesel fuel, caught on fire after the collision, but was immediately extinguished by firefighters responding to the scene.
Meanwhile, crews found the sedan wedged under the semi-truck after the collision.
The Aftermath
As a result of the crash, Loralee Connally passed. However, the semi truck driver remained uninjured.
Furthermore, CHP is still investigating the cause of the collision. The identities of the other parties involved also remained unreleased.
