Logan Hernandez Dies, Aaron Potten Arrested After Crash on Doll Baby Ranch Road in Gila County

Gila County, AZ (July 30, 2024) – Logan Hernandez, a 19-year-old resident of Payson, died after being injured in a rollover crash on Sunday night. 

The Gila County Sheriff’s Office reported that Hernandez died while being airlifted to a trauma center in Phoenix. 

The rollover crash occurred at 9 p.m. on Doll Baby Ranch Road, west of Payson, and involved Hernandez as well as two other passengers who sustained minor injuries. 

Aaron Potten, the 33-year-old driver, is facing a charge of manslaughter and will be booked into jail. 

The GCSO suspects that impairment contributed to the crash.
