On Friday, 22-year-old Lizette Gonzalez of Riverside, and her male passenger, were killed in a vehicle crash on Commerce Street and 3rd Street.
The fatal crash happened at about 11:20 p.m. when a speeding car ran off a road and crashed.
A witness said a 2006 Nissan Altima heading west on 3rd Street at a fast speed struck a utility pole and a building.
Authorities pronounced Gonzalez and her male passenger dead at the scene.
Further, the authorities withheld the man’s identity.
