Elk Grove, CA (March 22, 2021) – On Friday, 23-year-old Lizandro Hernandez Botello of Lodi died in a pedestrian accident on Highway 99.
 
The fatal crash took place at around 8:45 p.m. near Sheldon Road.
 
Botello was attempting to cross the northbound lanes when he was struck by several vehicles driving up the freeway.
 
Unfortunately, he died at the scene.
 
Authorities said the incident was an accident.
