Morning Pedestrian Crash on Highway 99 in Live Oak Ends in Fatality
LIVE OAK, CA (January 23, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Live Oak.
The fatal crash happened around 7:28 a.m. on northbound Highway 99, just South of Live Oak Boulevard.
Details are sparse on who was involved and what exactly transpired, but law enforcement responded to the scene and confirmed the fatality of the incident. The identity of the victim was not immediately available pending next of kin notification.
The second lane of the highway was shut down for the on-scene investigation.
