BELL GARDENS, CA (April 12, 2022) – Saturday morning, Lisette Medrano suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Eastern Avenue.

The incident happened at about 1:45 a.m. at 6308 Eastern Avenue in Bell Gardens.

According to reports, police found a woman bleeding from her head when they arrived at the scene. Then, they took her to the hospital with serious injuries.

Moreover, reports confirmed the woman walked from the sidewalk to the driver’s side door of her parked car. Then, she tried to open the door to her vehicle. However, an oncoming vehicle clipped her and crashed into her car and a second parked vehicle.

Afterward, the vehicle headed north on Eastern Avenue. According to the police, the vehicle was a white pickup truck with a “makeshift wooden bed.”
