3 Killed and 3 Hurt in Modesto Auto Accident on Highway 132

 
MODESTO, CA (August 30, 2021) – Saturday night, Lisa Trevino, Michael Maul, and Heidi Maul died in a crash on Highway 132.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 9:10 p.m. on Highway 132.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound 2007 Chevrolet Suburban crossed the center lines to pass a big rig. Then, it collided with a Nissan Versa. Both vehicles came into rest on the eastbound lane and the shoulder of Highway 132.
 
Furthermore, responders pronounced three people dead at the scene. The victims include the Versa driver, 40-year-old Lisa Trevino, her front-seat passenger, 43-year-old Michael Maul, and a backseat passenger, Heidi Lalani Maul.
 
Moreover, officials confirmed that the Chevrolet driver, 49-year-old Aurelia Amezcua of San Jose, sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, her passenger, 53-year-old Maria Magana, and 51-year-old Mireya Reyes suffered major injuries. Then, responders took them to Memorial Medical Center.
 
Meanwhile, the incident closed Highway 132 from River Road to Gates Road for about three hours.
