Brandon M Ault Facing Charges of Negligent Driving for Collision on 5 Freeway
LEWIS COUNTY, WA (February 18, 2018) – The identities of the people involved in a four-car collision on Interstate 5 near milepost 63 in Winlock have been released.
The crash occurred on Sunday afternoon around 1 PM. 39-year-old Brandon M Ault was driving in a 2001 GMC Yukon toward stopped traffic, when he tried to avoid a collision, but crashed into three stopped cars: a Subaru Forester, Pontiac G6, and a Kia Soul.
The Subaru was driven by Jeanie L Ross; the Pontiac by Lydia M Steward; and the Kia driven by Heidi Vogl. The Grayland man was not injured in the collision. His 45-year-old female passenger from Tacoma, Lisa Ault and a 65-year-old Jeanie Ross were both injured and transported to Providence Centralia Hospital.
Ault is facing charges of negligent driving, as WSP Troopers state that he was driving too fast for conditions. All vehicles were totaled except for the Kia.
