1 Hurt and 1 Detained in Petaluma Car Crash
PETALUMA, CA (August 29, 2019) – A juvenile sustained injuries while authorities arrested a woman after a hit-and-run crash on Washington Street.
The Petaluma police detained Lindsay Williams. While Williams left a Chevron gas station at 1510 East Washington Street, she hit an eastbound vehicle on Washington Street about 5:15 p.m.
The collision left a juvenile in the victim’s vehicle with injuries. As a result, responders transported the child to Petaluma Valley Hospital after receiving treatment at the scene.
Officers looked for William’s vehicle with major front-end damage. In addition, they located it heading north on Sonoma Mountain Parkway.
Authorities stopped Williams. After that, they detained her on suspicion of hit-and-run.
Lindsay Williams is on probation for DUI and driving with a suspended license. Meanwhile, authorities ruled out alcohol and narcotics as a factor in the collision.
